    And while im at it it. Bowling or batting side or both "judged" to have taken longer than acceptable to be ready to play should be penalised 36runs as sundries per over wasted "slow over rate" each hour. Fines have not worked.

    The minimum over rate should be set at 15 overs per hour. unless extreme heat or other extenuating circumstances. Another reason why DRS should be eliminated and all the extra "drinks" breaks.

    100 overs a day should be easy in the 6.5 hrs of play currently performed. Bump that up to just iver 7 hrs+ they have in a one day game and you should get 112 overs round figures. Which equals approx the min 450 overs bowled min in a 5 day game. Opening up a 4 day game equivilent as Richards and Taylor propose. Although the 5th day pitch element is removed. 3 x 2hr 25 min sessions.

    Anyway, I feel change is in the wind. Because test cricket is dying in most countries. And many elements cricket is built on will disappear.
