I do not for one moment believe that Yellen will raise rates this year or next. To do so would make the US debt levels even more unsustainable, with the interest bill growing by the hour. What is needed is a new currency with a 40% gold backing as we had before Nixon stuffed it up! Obviously the POG will have to rise dramatically and gold mining shares will obviously be singled out for a hefty income tax rate. This will be in part compensation for the write off of the huge US debt. However, I believe that gold mining shares will rise substantially. Hells bells, we have waited long enough for this! GLTAH.
