Dare I say, that the tail end of this year 2021 early 2022 will be when FGR will see sp increase, only been saying for a couple of years.
Just bear in mind that the quantities of graphene produced could be enormous which means a race to the bottom on pricing. There are other processes that use Methane prolysis being touted with similar claims to benefits.Therefore very specific and unique to process characteristics are needed to get price premium. None of these processes are classified as green hydrogen. IMNSHO the FGR process is blue i.e. a form of CSS in batteries, or pools, or conveyor belts...all of which have finite lives. The only virginal, "pure to the cause option" is electrolysis.
Green– Electrolysis of water usually, energy from renewables (I have issue with thisbecause wind turbines and PV have a finite life and ipso facto create waste especially of non-recoverable commodities..)
Blue – CCS,Carbon capture and storage usually underground. Using Non-renewables such as Nukesfor electrolysis energy.
Grey – hydrogenfrom natural gas but with carbon waste (heaps) unless in a form suitable forsoil improvement or CSS (see above)
Brown – made throughcoal gasification
Black – from steamreforming of methane, cheapest and huge production world-wide. 95% of H2 peoduction!

There is one massive overhang. The ability to produce Green hydrogen will be ahead of the supply chain infrastructure to deliver to users in quantity. The trashing of already paid for long ago existing plant and the demand for new cash will not happen soon.
So HC Posters have moved from expecting FGR graphene would take over the world four years ago, to graphene will take over hydrogen production. Anyone see a pattern here? Dusting off the old chest nut, "Will take longer than folk expect" - for hydrogen. BUT doesn't mean my other end of year prediction changes.
