I have heard and read stuff on here about housing falling 40%, has anyone any idea what it actually cost to build an affordable house. With material prices it isn't a cheap exercise, and labour is an expensive component. Can this change? IMO developers will restrict land supply, house prices may suffer slight decline, however current house prices and rent for that matter will be sustained.
