Hi All.
I'm currently eyeing off a property that has an old structure on it. Now the structure is not much more than a slab, walls and roof and I would be looking to turn it into a house. What I'm wanting to know is if there is any know way or flexibility in the system to allow for the First Homebuyers Grant to apply in such situations.
At a glance it looks like no, but the grant does apply when purchasing a home (even an old one) that has recently had major refurbishment done. So why would they not allow you to do this refurbishment and have it signed off to receive the grant?
