It does seem to represent a sucess of the American system rather than anything to do with where she might have been born.
Afterall, if she had stayed in Iran where would she be now, almost certainly not able to afford to $20mill for a space tourist flight.
The American system's durability and flexibility and reasons why it remains a magnet for all the people of the world, due to sucesses like these.
