Boot, one of the US military's ambitions for the VRB is that it is ruggedised to be pallet transportable. Isn't transportability the major significant advantage of the zbb over the vrb?
Could ZBB's interest in magnesium high energy density batteries be partly a defensive move to enter the vehicle market ahead of vrb's entry into the relocatable stationary battery market? After all, vrbs are easier to expand capacity of and are chemically less dangerous for RAPS, UPS, and other distributed power uses.
