It can be a win win for all involved it is just that it doesn't happen very often in OZ.
However I see Alex Cheesman spent time in the Pilbara with the traditional land owners and has acceptance by them to mine and not to disturb identified sacred sites on SYA tenements.
In N.Z. this is the norm.
