COMMUNICATED Sayona listens and collaborates with the communities where it operates La Motte, April 1, 2022 – In the wake of the Long Point First Nation (LPFN) Council's request regarding the Tansim property, the La Motte company reaffirms that it is listening and collaborating with the communities where it operates. Sayona has already committed, almost a year ago, to carrying out all the necessary environmental studies in due course. However, it is far too early to embark on such a process. The mining titles held by Sayona near Winneway have not been the subject of any exploratory work, no drill holes since 2019. Before even considering developing a mine, Sayona must determine, following the analysis of the results drilling, if the quality and quantity of the ore justify it. The path Sayona has chosen is to ensure that all the communities in which it operates become true partners and derive tangible benefits from these activities. This is what Sayona has done successfully in the context of its other projects, including that of Authier. The door is open For nearly two years, Sayona has spared no effort to open up dialogue with its host communities. Sayona is very sensitive to their concerns and would like nothing better than to sit down with them. In addition, in a spirit of collaboration and transparency, the Sayona team will soon be holding Ask Your Questions! with the various communities where it operates, in order to continue the dialogue, listen to concerns and answer questions.
