The AFR says (page 16) that "first oil is likley to flow today", and that WPL's Voelte has been pushing hard for it to "coincide" (be ahead of) Wednesday's full-year profit report.
The bit I like the most is the last paragraph: "The field...has an initial estimated life of 10 years but analysts believe the field could yield closer to 1 billion b arrels of oil". Ill-informed perhaps but I would prefer they were right!
