The bottom line of production is MONEY IN THE BANK...a NPAT figure allows the mkt to fundamentally value the asset against the number of shares in the co., and then the mkt can add (or subtract) a value for all the other potentials the co. has, incl mgmt, and bingo, we have a current sp!
Many insto shareholders sell-off/re-weight their holdings during the commissioning stage of a project...it's where things often go wrong, and the sp will get whacked...particularly true for a co. commissioning it's first project...nothing to fall back on!
