While I have great confidence in CCU, the official mining of the first ore actually marks the change from a spec company to a producer.
Spec companies are priced on sentiment, expectations and wild ephemeral numbers, the sky is the limit. Producers are priced on PE ratios and cold hard production figures.
This is a phenomonen I have witnessed many times. It is not bad but does explain the lack of price euphoria at times when everyone appears to be excited.
I think CCU's future is only just starting now, the silver price looks solid above $30, I have my money where my mouth is..
