    I bought into AEV today

    Reasons:

    1) AEV will make a strong market sensitive announcement within the next 10 trading days stating that they have just successfully shipped their first delivery of Phosphate. As holders realise 10 days is not far away the selling will stop and accumulation will begin.

    2) The Australian market is likely to boom within the next couple of days when OPEC convenes and announces an oil freeze (or some specific measures) to bolster oil prices. Strong oil price is directly linked to positive world markets including Australia's. If you observe where the ASX 200 currently is (see graph below) one can notice it is currently at the bottom of a hump and is waiting for any news (oil news)to create the next drive upward.

The point is - don't sell at the bottom of a hump when it is about to reverse wait 10 trading days for a large jump in AEV's SP!

    Evidence:

Pretty obvious where the ASX is likely to go next with the impending world market oil news.

News extracts about global oil and the relationship to world/Australian markets:

"Oil futures tiptoed higher Monday, finding support after Venezuela said a deal to stabilize the global oil supply is imminent between nations inside and outside the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries."

"OPEC members are still scheduled to have informal talks in September, the last day of the International Energy Forum, a petroleum-industry conference in Algiers. Mr. Barkindo said OPEC would try to reach a consensus on Action in Algiers and then could call an emergency meeting to make an actual decision if all members agree."

"The FTSE 100 closed up 103.27 points at 6813.55 as commodity stocks gained on the back of a firmer oil price and a weaker dollar.
Talk of an Opec meeting - including non-member Russia - to discuss an production freeze pushed the markets upward."

If you have not worked out the point I am attempting to make it is this:

1)As OPEC announces a production freeze (or similar) world markets including Australia's will react positively. This will drive confidence in the ASX and investors will jump back in - creating the upward leg of the next hump. AEV will get its fair share of the action too - and it will become a buyers market for AEV as well.

    2) On the back of the positive macro events AEV will release their market sensitive announcement relating to their first shipment of phosphate to China in early October - and hey presto - AEV's SP will rocket.
