With the close today at 97 cents and the options at 3.1 cents, the total is 100.1 cents. Hence, in reality buying today at 97 cents, you would be marginally worse off than buying via the IPO.
The other benefit of buying via the IPO is that you can purchase a relatively large volume of both shares and options in one hit. However, with the very small volumes being transacted since trading started on 12-Apr it has been impossible to accumulate a relatively large volume.
