first production revenue

Why is the following market sensitive News for BCC (posted at ASX at 10:39AM with a short trading halt) but not for EXR even though EXR has a 25% stake in the project?

I am mystified - can anyone enlighten me (BCC rose 6.67% on the news).

FIRST PRODUCTION REVENUE

Buccaneer Energy Limited ("Buccaneer" or "the Company") is pleased to advise that it has received its first payment for production from its 65% owned Pompano project. The first well in the Pompano project is SL 103229 # 1, this well commenced full production on the 11 March 2008.

Buccaneer has received a net revenue payment of US$488,870 (AUD$518,202) for its share of 20 days production in March 2008. This revenue is for gas sales net of royalties, transportation and severance taxes. The average gas price received during March 2008 was US$8.07 per thousand cubic foot, after transportation costs.

The operator has also reported that Buccaneer is due US$15,800 (AUD$16,745) for March 2008 condensate sales when the operator receives payment. Condensate was sold at US$99.47 per barrel for March production.

The expected net price for the company's natural gas sales for the next two successive months is US$8.41 for April 08 and US$10.02 for May 08. Condensate prices are expected to be near or above US$100.00 per barrel for those two months. The revenue for April 08 sales will be received in June 08 and for May 08 sales in July 08.

As at 1 May 2008 the Company has two wells in full production at the Pompano project producing a combined 14.6 million cubic fet per day of gas and 40 barrels of condensate. The Company is currently finalising its drilling schedule for 2008 which will include a third well at the Pompano project, this well is currently scheduled to commence early in the third quarter 2008.

Buccaneer listed on the ASX less than six months ago and the receipt of its first production revenue is another significant milstone for the Company.
