i guess you could say financial `perception` may influence in the short term and ``financial reality` or being able to pay bills is long term fundamentals.
Politicians have a record of reversing positions where their future financial considerations would provide a negative change to the reality of their citizens. The balance will be what they perceive they can get away with.
For mine, Lynas would be a very small electorial issue. Malaysia is developing very quickly and with that comes a wide variety of growing pains.
