With the new ban on shorting it looks like I'll be joining you guys.
I just opened a new account with First Prudential. I've been on their CFD platform for a while & found their service & reliability to be excellent. They are also Direct Market Access (NOT Market Makers)
The new platform includes:
Exchange Traded Futures & Options
International CFDs & indices
Equities
Exchange Traded CFDs
Margin FX
Apparently much of the new platform is also DMA with indexes, etc, being virtual.
I've been meaning to trade the indices for some time but never got around to signing up for an account. I can thank the regulators for giving me a little shove.
Wish me luck, I'll let you know how it performs :)
