first quantum sells out, page-10

First Quantum did sell out last night, nothing nefarious to the deal, they sold to a fund.

They are very happy with the $30 mill that AVM earned for them, they have there own projects they are working on.

AVM has come of age, kicked out of home to stand on it's own, any intentions FQ had of taking it over were overtaken by the companies success and shareprice, they realise it would be expensive for them. The Congo is a big place and they have plenty of there own prospects to work on. A takeover wasn't necessarily in there interests and $30 mill was a great return for them.
