Acrux share price was high due to potential income from one of their prime products, and the milestone payment they got one year, and therefore was factored into the share price as everyone thought they would keep on getting that payment. However as you cannot claim a CGT loss on these shares I would suggest holding them as their dividend return is exceptional. I am actually looking to buy more if they drop down to 61 or below. Occasionally they do this and if they may pay like a 7 or 8 cent dividend (they will only be able to afford to pay this due to the weak $Aus), then the return is exceptional after tax (like 15%) which you will not get from a bank.

i'd bet acrux being a pdf is a real pain for many that are sitting on losses, as it is for me. if they weren't, i would have taken the claimable loss ages ago, and moved on.
