the tarkine is an insidious beast that moves and grows as it consumes the minds of the gullible. Its not hard to hoodwink people who are 1000s of kms away and have never been there. Some of it is amazing forest, some not so much. But there is no need to lock everything up just do it right. So much of Tassie is already protected, using tiny bits for mining isnt going to hurt much.
