Nice way to hold the board accountable, well done. Should do this a couple times a year in order to measure/track progress in a cool, calm way.
Next month's 4C is shaping up to have a massive revenue figure, but I would urge caution and for us not to go over the top, at least not until this kind of figure is reported consistently each quarter anyway (well down the track once BodyGuard is up and running of course
)
Using rough figures as an example, next month we might see included in our revenue:
1) The usual 300-400k royalties (with the added unknown effect of the pre-paid royalty integrated SK-II spot pen, maybe 450-500k?)
2) R&D rebate 700-800k?
3) With the royalty contract being renegotiated last year, there is talk / expectation of being back paid some extra royalties as a result. No idea what currency this would be in (US$ or AU$) but lets go with 500k which should be in the ball park.
If all the above turn out to be paid to us in the first quarter of 2019 then we're looking at a minimum of 1.5 million (and potentially 1.75 million or so) in revenue reported in next month's 4C. If the royalty backpay or the R&D rebate doesn't happen this 4C then not a big deal as it will very likely happen the following 4C instead.
Either way,
most of the above information is already known known and to be expected even. The revenue figure will be an anomaly (at least for now) and we should keep cool & calm heads regardless of what the share price might do in the short term. Some uneducated casual investors might just see a large spike in revenue and have a punt on a speccy.
If it becomes apparent that we will become cashflow positive by extrapolating sensible revenue figures over the rest of 2019 then we may also see some additional investor activity as for many astute investors, they will not consider or touch a stock that isn't cashflow positive, so OBJ might soon appear on the radar of some people who previously wouldn't go near it due to their own strict investing criteria.
Either way,
please be humble and do not get carried away.
We could report 1.5 million next month and if not much else happens for the remainder of the year just as easily report 400-500k per quarter for the remaining three quarters of 2019, which would feel like a backwards step if you get carried away by next month's (or July's 4C) bloated reported revenue figure.
