judging from the content of your post, I do not believe you understand the nature of a resource rent tax.
You talk about investors not being rewarded for the risk investors take in investing in mining projects. But, they are being rewarded as the RRT is to be based on "super" profits. I will not be too surprised what is "super" profits will be furthered defined as part of the dialogue the government will be having with the mining industry.
I do understand the numerous posts which were based on self interest, and that is fair enough, but in putting forward your argument against the proposed RRT, try to be a bit more rational in the logic.
If a proposed is bad, it will be shown to be bad based on logical arguments against it, not some nonsensical tirades.
