That select group to whom you refer were many many millions of pensioners, carers and families to whom it would have been of great benefit while at the same time providing a much needed stimulus to the economy. The rest of the community has in the past benefited from tax cuts and will continue to benefit from already scheduled further tax cuts. A second stimulus package to build infrastructure is soon to start that will give business a further big boost. A well targetted set of strategies in my opinion. But of course there will always be some people who think it should have been done differently.
