when you are older ----------- flu is flu - and, it can knock you around
but, pneumonia will knock you down big time - and it might be the last knockdown of all
for years I have had flu shots and I remain very healthy - but, last year I 'might' have had a reaction to it ----------- not certain - so, I will probably give it a miss now because a. the world is going to be a cleaner place for a while because everyone now has a bit of a fright and b. my lifestyle now is pretty much set in place that I am at fairly low risk - I'm also as fit as anything - so, can probably withstand all but a bad strain
I will continue to have the pneumovax when it's due - every 5 years from memory
I do get regular checks of everything that I should - and, they come up on the calendar monotonously - bloody psa is due again soon and I'm stuck in a global crisis in a foreign country locked down --------- so, that one might be a bit late this time
