Hi Joca it was estimated some years ago that to bring Southdown on line with its very long slurry pipeline would cost around 800-1000 Million. Cash Reserves within the two companies are equal to about half this amount.it is a no brainer to me as Koolan island, if i remember correctly was also previously mined by BHP or Hammersley way back in the 1970/80s and the quality of remaining ore is questionable at best.
Having not held MGX myself for the past 9 years i was looking at having another go with them as i made a pile early on and feel 40 cents is a bargain compared to the current deal we are getting from GRR...
