My understanding is that the Australian government eliminated the General Dynamics Land Systems (Ajax) in 2019 from the competition for Australia’s $10 billion infantry fighting vehicle program. They thought it was crap. And they were right. So it's the UK Tory government that's mucked up and lost billions here, I think.
In early 2021, the Australian Department of Defence (DoD) received three prototype test and evaluation vehicles each from Hanwha Defense Australia and Rheinmetall Defence Australia. Not sure how testing is going on them.
