Hi gam,
just a couple of points on your comments.
You are right, there is easy money in when exploration discovery.
I punt on this as well, but that hasn't happened and the share price is languishing with a stellar resource.
Comment on what directors are doing is way off the mark.
The directors are kinking back in an office while the guys on the ground are putting in the hard yards.
Directors big task is to hassle the geology data person for a report so the can produce a fluffy announcement.
Directors are in no way the bearers of any real weight, but are the highest paid and gain the most, and do the least work.
Actually starting the development process means a massive amount of work, flippantly mentioning a development plan in that way shows no idea of the complexity and massive work load to get a new project off the ground, especially when you are a company that hasn't done it before, you don't have any previous systems or personnel in place.
The biggest issues I have are
Every minute directors spend getting their teeth whitened, showing up to work with there flash suits and haircuts, and googling the latest European car to see if their is the latest and greatest the production time frames blows out.
Every day wasted pushes profit exponentially out as lead time for everything is growing.
if you don't pull the trigger on a mill design you get further back in the line.
If you don't identify critical lead time items you cant order them and they get exponentially push out because everyone else is lining up due the the gold price.
If you don't start you environmental studies you cant finish the develop plan (mining proposal) or multitude multiple other jobs.
If you don't identify the people with the expertise you need and engage them when they are free, timeframes further blow out.
if you have a significant resource with billions in profit and your not bouncing off the walls smashing out the development jobs as quick as possible your a passenger, or in the mining industry we say burning diesel for shit.
As discussed if Directors accept a takeover offer at this market cap they will be the only one to realise the benefits from the resource value.
At the moment Directors have the option to cruise and soak up bonuses and time. This option needs to be gone.
I hope there is no confusion on why I'm pestering everyone on this thread. If you are underperforming you need to change or go.
