first weeks traffic numbers

CEU will put out the numbers for the first week and then move to report the numbers monthly and then quarterly once the numbers are available.

i dont think the numbers for the first week will be that important because there would be heaps of tyre kickers in the first week. the first months number i think will be more telling.

we just need numbers around 240k as forecasts move upto 270k after the 15 month ramp up. so if we get average daily numbers around 500k for the first month i recon CEU is laughing. once the tolls come into force and if the numbers are around the 300k mark its gona beat the forecasts, if that happens it will get a massive re-rating.

remember citilink does 600k cars average per day, eastlink is 3 times the size and expects to get 270k.

still a massive bargain.
