You are correct. These corporate types think their S$%t... does not smell but who pays their salary?
We do need to remember that these jobs come with a lot of political rubbish. They are effectively owned by the govt and so the salary becomes political. You will not attract a big wig without the money because they have to put up with idiot politicians and the business is complex and large. All this is window dressing pre an eventual float on the asx anyway.
