This year for the first time, humans will eat more farmed fish then wild fish according to a report being prepared by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization.
The day when all fish for human consumption makes its way to a plate through a fish farm may arrive sooner rather than later, the F.A.O. estimates 43% of the world fishery production now comes from aquaculture.
Cell aims to be the biggest land based aquaculture producer in Malaysia, first fish out next month, and if the Terengganu funding facility comes through for its expansion of 1000 tonnes in the new year,
Well that would be a nice Christmas present......
