Article in The Australian this morning indicates CSS has good potential to benefit substantially from the Japan crisis - possibly for an extended period of time due to contamination of the sea in that area. (see article below)

Technically this stock has clearly begun moving upward from a 12 month Stage 1 base. These increased export sales may just give the share price the momentum in needs to continue upward.

For all the long suffering shareholders it would be nice if this occurred.

AUSTRALIAN seafood producer and exporter Clean Seas Tuna is getting increased demand from overseas for its farmed yellowtail kingfish following the nuclear crisis in Japan, managing director Clifford Ashby said.

"We have certainly noticed increased interest in our kingfish products," Mr Ashby said yesterday.

"The increased demand is coming mainly from Southeast Asian countries that normally take Japanese product, and also from the United States."

Yellowtail kingfish, or hiramasa, is a upmarket fish often used as sashimi.

Clean Seas produces commercial quantities of farmed kingfish in South Australia.

Mr Ashby said food exports from Japan had been disrupted since the March 11 earthquake, tsunami and damage to the Fukushima nuclear reactor on Japan's northeastern coast.
