No doubt about it Kingfish is delicious .....but l've bought plenty in the $14 ...$15 per kilo range . Allow for the vendors margin of say 30 % ...... means $10.00 per kg ....wholesale .
My concern is that CSS will never make the gross margin on sales on kingfish ....to produce acceptable profits after funding overheads etc .
All guesswork and could be wrong .
Certainly they seem to b able to grow the fish ok .
