Fish n cheaps

Tonight for the first time I called into a new fish shop that opened recently near us.

All well presented, including a big display of whole fresh fish.

I ended up with two fresh black fish (luderick) weighing a total of 750g, cleaned, headed and scaled in front of me for the grand total of $3.70. Whipped into Coles and grabbed a sweet potato for something under $2.00.

At home I simply baked wedges of sweet potato, fried the two black fish whole in a non stick pan with some spray olive oil and made a small rocket salad with stuff from the fridge.

Simple, quick and cheaper than a frozen dinner ... oh and Mrs Dex is washing up 8))
