    Fish stew:

    Make the stock in a medium saucepan by frying in a little olive oil, until starting to brown and / or caramelize:
    One or two crayfish lobster bodies or heads.
    One diced onion.
    Strain out the solids.

    Then add the following and simmer for 5 or 10 minutes or longer:
    Four cups water.
    One can rinsed white beans.
    One cup total of peas and / or beans.
    One to three tablespoons tomato paste.
    One teabag herb.
    One strip of orange peel if desired.

    Thicken slightly with corn flour if desired.

    Add some of the following:
    A tablespoon chopped paisley.
    A splash of brandy or cognac.
    A splash of light soy sauce.
    A splash of liquid smoke.

    Turn off and lightly poach four fish fillets and / or other seafood.
