The oil is there, they just aren't getting it out yet!
Santos man had predicted fracing. He also said
"when hitting the bottom the formation is tenuous and it will depend on how they finish the hole on how well it will produce - if they use mud and liquid fluids for drilling it will be high risk - but under balance drilling and nitrogen is the way to go but expensive"
Santos know more about drilling in this area than anybody else.
