Nice, only ~ 1800 ft of the lateral left to go after which they will case and cement the hole and skid the rig a few meters to the Maroons well .

Would be great to have a timelapse video of the rig move ( with an Aussie flag on it), it’s an amazing sight to watch one of these monster rigs moved rigged up.

That will be ~ US $ 5 million ( gross ) spent up to that stage ( about 50% well cost and 50 % frack/ stimulation cost)

This is a massive project for a company the size of BRK. They are operating and will be responsible and control a field spend of ~ US $ 1 million ( AUD $ 1.5 million) per week till flowback in Sept/ Oct. I’m not sure people comprehend the totality and magnitude of what the team are embarking on here. One a like for like basis, it’s analogous to BHP spending over AUD $ 220 Billion in 40 weeks ( without any debt).
