Pity our fore bearers didn't think like that by not having started the industrial revolution, we'd all be sitting huddled around a candle, but yes the climate would be great, the barrier reef would be pristine (but I couldn't get there anyway). I wouldn't know about Ayres rock as there would be no media not print and no social media for people to post ridiculous comments.
Lets face it every successive generation has to clean up a mess that the previous generations made it's called progress, it can't be stopped, it can't be delayed and yes someone in a few hundred years MAY have to cope with a 0.05degC temperature rise!
