tim flannery should be there spruiking his global warming alarmism - the south African's might pay money to listen to his preaching.

when it was drought in Australia, tim was warning us, that this was the new norm - the effect of global warming - ie even if the rain that did fall, - well it would not run off into the dams, because the ground itself was too hot

when it rained, then we got the excuse, that the rain was caused by global warming - we hear the excuse now - warming increases precipitation - which causes rain.

so how come the global warming is not causing increased precipitation over south Africa???

Scientists in the Netherlands have found a new excuse as to why sea levels are stubbornly refusing to rise in line with Al Gore’s doomsday predictions: “ocean bottom deformation.”

Apparently, they claim in a study by Thomas Frederikse et al, the weight of the extra water caused by all those melting glaciers and icecaps is so great that it is causing the sea bed to sink.

Watso:- The weight of the extra water causing the sea bed level to sink is no laughing matter. As the sea bed sinks it puts pressure on the earth's crust, causing lava to be forced to the surface and thereby causing all the volcanic eruptions we have been happening worldwide.

As you know, volcanoes put much more CO2 in to the atmosphere than man does and this extra CO2 causes extra warming, causing more ice to melt and more sea water to cause the sea bed to put more pressure on the earth's crust to cause more volcanic eruptions worldwide therefore more CO2 etc., etc..

So I guess that this is the positive forcing that the Natural Climate Variation deniers are always telling us will cause run away warming.
