KIMBERLEY CHALLENGE WITH PROFESSOR TIM FLANNERY

Discover the Kimberley, raise vital funds for climate research

To top off your adventure, you will join renowned scientist and former Australian of the Year, Professor Tim Flannery—the Climate Council’s Chief Councillor—at the remote Mornington Wildlife Conservancy. Alongside Tim, you will observe the rich biodiversity of the Kimberley region, home to many threatened and endangered species including the northern quoll.

Discover the Kimberley, raise vital funds for climate research

As part of the Climate Council’s Kimberley Challenge, you will drive our research and help us to publish more world-leading reports on climate science, impacts and renewable energy solutions. With your support, we can give a broader group of experts the media platform to combat climate deniers and fight deliberate misinformation on this issue.
    • $200 could publish a press release correcting misinformation
    • $1,500 could create an animated video simplifying the science of climate change for our monthly online audience of 2.5 million Australians
    • $20,000 could support research into an active issue and fund the preparation of an information report
As a non-profit organisation we can only continue to combat climate change with the support of our community—people just like you.

On our final night, another grand dinner under the stars sends our Climate Council fundraisers off in style and an equally grand thank you to Professor Tim Flannery for his leadership in the effort to combat the worst impacts of climate change. Next morning, another brilliant blue sky beckons us towards Broome via a short flight and back to reality.
