Your post is ambiguous Sabbath. It all comes down to the term "alarmist"...
Some see "alarmists" everywhere, others consider the climate scientists to be alarmist - and here I agree, the science is sounding an alarm or warning that global warming needs to be addressed urgently as we are losing the opportunity to reverse the threat by ignoring the evidence. and there are some who cite the odd scientist - a whistleblower? - as having superior knowledge to the peer reviewed research.
I consider those who deny the legitimate science as "alarmists". these people fear losing something and listen only to the media shock-jocks who sow ** for a living. They sound the alarm out of fear.
