At the moment it is exceptionally wet in the top end and parts of QLD. Its a monsoon thats been hanging around for a week. There is an old saying in the NT. Go bush before Queens birthday and you will get bogged. So I think the delays are normal and to be expected. Empire in my view made the right decision to wait.
