Just bought into ALK based on chart recommendations. Looking for a short term hold.
But I have noticed ALK strikes me as a weird stock. 400,000 volume on good days and 160,000 or so thus far today.
But the stock trades very slowly. Sometimes can be 30-40 minutes and then a flurry of trades get done then silent again for 30-40minutes.
Weird and suggests this stock is heavily played with by the big end of town. Who incidentally all deserve to be taken to the barn and disposed of....
Not saying traders/banks are evil as real people work there. But the ideas/culture/ethics these places represent is pretty rotten.
