I'd invite anyone to spend the evening researching " E-waste technology recycling advancements", over the last decade if you like.
There is no shortage of companies or 3rd/ 1st world universities that published the next "breakthrough" to environmentally extract metals from e waste using unheard methodology.
It has become a bit of a "cesspool/rabbit hole" and the majority of methods publishing's have never been heard of or updated again.
Those that have had a degree of sucess, are almost always an extension of hydrometallergy or pyrometallurgy.
We have technology that potentially exceeds these ageing benchmark methods, but has also translated with a high degree of sucess using different feedstocks and now potentially ores.
I've read it all and following a few private companies, but nothing to preach about yet.
