You have to be joking.. no prime minister under a democratic system actually gets anything done.. There's an awful lot of waffle and talk, briefings and such, commissions of enquiry, visits to conferences and international talkfests. The media gallery is finessed, wined, dined and misled. The public, who really couldn't care less, are paid attention to at election time only and the internal party squabbles keep the PM of the day busy hanging onto his privileges whilst ensuring that possible successors are rubbished in the press.... Nothing changes, improves or actually gets done and a person such as Forrest would need to have rocks in his head to want to enter politics...
