I have friends in the Kiewa Valley in north east Victoria who live about 20km up the valley from Mount Beauty. And blow me down with a feather but you can see Mount Bogong from their place. And even funnier, we can see the lights of Falls Creek at night which is about 30km as the crow flies from their place.
