This might stir a few people up — makes for an interesting debate and conversation.
One of my very good friends of nearly 30 years tried to convince me that the Earth is flat. I have to admit, I laughed at him, called him some kind of special, and told him (in a friendly way) to go get re-educated.
After an hour or two of back-and-forth — which, to be honest, was starting to drive me a bit crazy — I actually began paying attention to a few of his points. In the end, I asked if we could pause the conversation because I genuinely wanted to study the topic in depth and see if there was any relevance to what he was saying.
Let’s just say, after nearly half a day of deep study — looking into NASA's evidence, scientific data, historical explorations, etc. — I walked away thinking, "Who cares, really? What's the point of this?" But then I got an unexpected answer to that very question — and I was blown away.
So I decided to let the Bible speak and see if I could find any clarity in Scripture. Before I share some of what I found, I thought it would be interesting to see what others have to say on the subject.
It’s definitely one crazy topic... and honestly, one I’ve laughed at for years.
Hopefully most will be respectful.. Just have fun with the subject, no need to get nasty.
