    It's not talking about just false prophets. It also talks about true prophets.

    Jesus warns, but also gives guidance on who to accept.

    Which prophet has Christianity accepted based on this principle since Jesus? No one.
    That's not being true to His words.

    "The Bible was not written with the Bahai Faith in mind"

    And the Old Testament was not written with Christianity in mind.
    You can't use this line knowing what you know about Jewish rejection of Christianity. It's the same reasons you reject the Bahai Faith.

    But you know that Jesus was the Messiah. Why does your thinking stop there?

    No one is hijacking any verse in the Bible.

    It's a question.

    Why would Jesus talk about Prophets and how to recognise them if there was never going to be another Prophet after Him?

    Instead of telling me I have no clue, tell me using Bible verses what other verses there are to recognise these Prophets Jesus is talking about in Matthew 7?
