It's not talking about just false prophets. It also talks about true prophets.
Deuteronomy 18:20-22 "But a prophet who presumes to speak in my name anything I have not commanded, or a prophet who speaks in the name of other gods, is to be put to death.", and it’s quite obvious that your prophet is not speaking for Jesus, the “Word” made flash
This emphasizes that a true prophet’s messages align with God's will. Jesus warns, but also gives guidance on who to accept.
Which prophet has Christianity accepted based on this principle since Jesus? No one.
That's not being true to His words.
And do tell which other Prophet, Christianity have excepted
"The Bible was not written with the Bahai Faith in mind"
And the Old Testament was not written with Christianity in mind.
You can't use this line knowing what you know about Jewish rejection of Christianity. It's the same reasons you reject the Bahai Faith.
Very funny Kam, the whole
The Old Testament was written over many centuries before Jesus’ birth, and it contains numerous prophecies, types, and symbols that foreshadow and point toward Jesus Christ. Here’s an overview of how it was written to foreshadow Him:
Prophecies of the Messiah (Christ)
Many passages in the Old Testament predict specific details about Jesus’ life, death, and mission:
Isaiah 53: Describes the suffering servant who would bear the sins of many.
Micah 5:2: Foretells Jesus’ birthplace in Bethlehem.
Psalm 22: Describes suffering and details similar to Jesus’ crucifixion.
Isaiah 7:14: Predicts the virgin birth.
Daniel 7:13-14: Talks about the coming of the Son of Man with eternal kingdom.
Types and Symbols
Certain Old Testament figures and events serve as "types" or symbols of Christ:
Adam: The first man, whose disobedience brought sin; Jesus is called the "second Adam" who brings restoration (Romans 5:14-21).
Passover Lamb (Exodus 12): The blood of the lamb saved the Israelites from death; Jesus is called the "Lamb of God" who saves from sin.
Moses: Led the Israelites out of slavery; Jesus leads His followers out of spiritual slavery.
The Sacrificial System: The animal sacrifices foreshadow Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice for sin.
Covenants
Old Testament covenants set the stage for the new covenant:
Abraham’s covenant: Blessing through his seed points to Jesus, the ultimate descendant.
David’s throne: Promised an everlasting kingdom, fulfilled in Jesus as the King.
But you know that Jesus was the Messiah. Why does your thinking stop there?
No one is hijacking any verse in the Bible.
It's a question.
You are trying to make scripture referring to your faith, which it clearly does not
Why would Jesus talk about Prophets and how to recognise them if there was never going to be another Prophet after Him?
Kam, don’t be funny, as anyone can claim to be a prophet and do good
The bible teaches that Jesus, as the definitive and ultimate Prophet, established the fullness of God's revelation.
In the Gospel according to Matthew, Jesus warns about false prophets who come in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. He instructs his followers to judge prophets by their fruits, explaining that a good tree bears good fruit, while a bad tree bears bad fruit (Matthew 7:15-20). he emphasized the importance of discerning true prophets from false ones. true prophets must speak in alignment with the teachings of Christ
Doing good in general is important, but discerning true prophets involves testing whether their teachings genuinely point to and uphold the true gospel of Jesus Christ. If their message and fruit lead people toward Christ and align with God's Word, they are likely true prophets,
How to line up discerning true prophets with teaching the right gospel:
Check the Content of Their Message
Does it align with the core teachings of the Bible and the gospel of Jesus Christ?
For example, does it emphasize salvation through faith in Jesus, God's grace, repentance, and love?
Avoid teachings that add or subtract from the gospel (Galatians 1:8-9).
Ask: Does their message point people toward Jesus as the only way to salvation?
Test Against Scripture
Use the Bible as the ultimate standard.
1 John 4:1 says, "Test the spirits to see whether they are from God," because many false prophets have gone out into the world.
Compare their teachings with the clear teachings of Jesus and the apostles.
Look for Consistency with the Gospel
A true prophet or teacher will consistently uphold the core message of salvation through Jesus, not distort or deny it.
Their teachings should lead people closer to Christ and produce good fruit in their lives.
In regards to the second part of your post. Yes my apologies "Hod" was a typo
cool
Instead of telling me I have no clue, tell me using Bible verses what other verses there are to recognise these Prophets Jesus is talking about in Matthew 7?
Read the above, as a prophet, is not just about doing good fruits. Or hijacking a part of scripture in order to justify yourself, all the gospel needs to be taken as a whole, not in snippets, and it’s quite clear that a true prophet doesn’t just depend on doing good fruits, but must also be in line with the Gospel message especially the NT that Jesus is the final revelation of God, no one else to come afterwards
What you have to demonstrate is that your faith only points to Jesus only as a way of salvation not your prophet or any other
