Refer to the OT for what applied in the OT days
Refer to the NT for what applies today.
What we like, think is fair/not fair does not change the teachings & what is waiting.
How to enter eternity is taught, rejecting or accepting then is the choice of the hearer.
Currently you hear but what you accept is your choice.

You appear to assume that whatever is written in the Bible is a fact by the mere token that it is written in the Bible.
