Are you seriously saying that what we see in Genesis today, or in the Buddhist or Hindu scriptures is the exact same words as what was written or said by the original authors? Plus, the translations into English conveys the same meaning as the original language of the text?
The Church existing long before the Bible was compiled is irrelevant to the fact that the Old Testament was around before the Church existed, in the form of scrolls and other fragments. These fragments and scrolls may have been human copies of the originals, we do not know. Either way many human hands have touched ancient Scriptures and on a scholarly level, these realities are acknowledged, but it seems you want to cover your ears to the research and shout "la la la la la"?
